Do you want to get involved in Calderdale Pride? We'd love to have you with us on the day (19th August) to help out with various tasks which include, but are not limited to:

• Signing volunteers in/out
• Setting up/decorating
• Litter picking
• Marshalling
• Act liaison (moving them safely to and from the stage)
• Staffing the disabled platform
• Co-ordinating with The Piece Hall staff and the Calderdale Pride Team
• Public safety & wellbeing (directing public as required to all amenities)
• Clearing away the stalls and equipment the following day (Sunday 20th August)

Calderdale Pride are to undertake all arrangements on the day for the volunteers and issue tasks for the day.

The site will be run by The Piece Hall staff and The Calderdale Pride Team will report directly to The Piece Hall.

All volunteers will report to the south entrance of The Piece Hall as required at a pre-arrange time on the day and must sign in and out at a pre-arranged location.

The Calderdale Pride team will hold a seminar day for a pre-event induction a week before the event (12th August), further details will be issued to volunteers in due course. All volunteers will be expected to attend this event to run through all health & safety information and procedures prior to the day.

The welfare and wellbeing of our volunteers is paramount to the Pride Team and toilet facilities are provided within The Piece Hall. Water and refreshments will also be available to all volunteers on the day at the signing in point.

All information with regards to Security, Environment, First Aid and Evacuation procedure will be outlined in the induction undertaken by all volunteers. All volunteers will be expected to sign up to all site rules and regulations.
